Inches and Centimeters

Art Price Lab works in whichever unit system you prefer.

You set your preferred unit during onboarding. You can change it anytime in Settings under Measurement Preferences. When you switch, all inputs and display values switch with you. You do not need to convert anything manually.

The calculator handles conversion in the background. If you enter dimensions in centimeters, the formulas adjust so the math is still correct. The per-square-centimeter and per-linear-centimeter rates are calibrated to produce equivalent results to their inch counterparts.

Saved calculations store the original units they were entered in. When you view them later, they display in the original unit regardless of your current setting.
