My Numbers Look Wrong
If your prices are coming out unexpectedly high or low, check these things first.
Dimensions: Make sure height and width are entered correctly and in the right unit. A common mistake is entering centimeters when the calculator is set to inches... that produces very small numbers.
Multiplier: Check your current multiplier setting. A very high or very low rate produces prices that feel off. Use the slider to see how different rates change the result before adjusting your default.
Overhead and hourly rate: If overhead is unusually high or your hourly rate is not set, those affect the time plus materials number significantly. Check Settings to confirm your current values.
Compare all three methods: If one method is way out of range compared to the other two, that method is surfacing something specific about this piece. See Why Prices Differ Between Methods for what to look for.
If you have checked all of these and the numbers still feel wrong, email support@cassidyaustin.com.
